- 12 weeks. Wednesdays 9.45am – 12.45pm. 60 Hours – face to face. Learner Time commitment: • Face to Face for 1 x 3-hour session every Wednesday morning for 20 weeks • Classes: 1 workshops per week from 9:45am to 12:45pm every Wednesday Morning in line with the primary school calendar • Self-directed study: It is recommended that participants allocate a minimum of 4 hours per week for self-directed study to cover suggested readings and videos.
Programme summary
This QQI Level 6 module aims to equip women with the knowledge, skill, and competence to develop standards, measure performance, motivate and empower staff while working in a supervisory role.
Entry requirements
Admissions The admission criteria below apply to all applicants:
- Applicants must be 18 years or older
- Applicants should have completed the Leaving Certificate or another QQI (FETAC) Major Award at Level 5
- Be proficient in English (proof of B2 Certificate required)
- An Cosán recognises and appreciates that adult learners may bring a range of skills and abilities gain outside the education environment. Those who do not hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award may apply for entry based on relevant work history and references (minimum 3 yrs).
- Entry based on Recognition of Prior Learning does not provide any exemption to learning outcomes as it is a standalone module.
