Sports Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistant - Advanced

Throughout the year, students will develop specific skills in the area of advanced sports mas­sage techniques, learn to evalu­ate sports massage treatments and work with clients to carry out consultations and assess­ments and produce individual treatment plans.

QQI level 5 award in Commu­nity Health Services or equiva­lent and the ITEC Level 3 Sports Massage Award must also be completed with the practical elements of the assessment passed. Equal consideration will be given to mature applicants (those aged over 23) who do not meet these entry requirements.
