Special Needs Assisting with Disability Studies

This programme equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and competence to support individuals with disabilities in achieving their potential and living self directed, fulfilling lives. Learners develop the ability to work both independently and under supervision, applying best practice across a range of care and support settings. The programme also provides a solid foundation for progression to further or higher education and training in the health, social care, and community sectors.

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent Interview Mature applicants welcome Applicants whose first language is not English will require a competency as stated in our admissions policy This course requires participants to be Garda vetted. Continued participation on the course and work placement is dependent on the successful completion of this process
