Special Needs Assistant - Special & Mainstream Education

This one year course trains students to work as Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) in the care of the child or adult with a mental or physical disability, and as SNA's in Primary and Secondary School Classrooms. City of Dublin FET College, Liberties has offered courses in the training of SNAs since 1991.

General College Entry Requirements You should be at least 16 years of age. Leaving Certificate / Leaving Certificate Applied standard Level 4 Major award Individual courses may have specific additional requirements. These will be outlined in the course descriptions for each course. Relevant work experience or training will be considered.
