Software Engineering

This programme is designed for students who wish to learn and apply the theories, processes, practices, methods and techniques required to build high-quality software in a cost-effective manner and to analyse large data sets in order to extract valuable knowledge from the data. Applicants should have programming experience either through prior academic study, industry experience or both.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8,) with at least a second-class honour, grade 2 (2:2) in a relevant discipline such as computer systems, computer science or applied mathematics. The university may shortlist and invite you to an interview.
