Programme summary
The M.Sc. combines advanced education in research methods by internationally recognised experts; modules on how research engages with policy and politics and on the latest research debates on key policy and societal issues, taught by a range of specialists drawing on their expertise and direct experience; and a research project, undertaken in collaboration with external agencies and/or groups.
Entry requirements
Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level. The entry requirement is an honours degree of at least a 2:2 in Social Science or a cognate discipline or international equivalent is required. Minimum English language requirements: Applicants for whom English is not their first language are required to demonstrate their proficiency in English in order to benefit fully from their course of study.
