Screen Production

The Certificate in Screen Production equips learners with the abilities to conceive ideas and develop original material suitable to approach the production of a short factual item for multiplatform distribution.

How to Apply This is a direct entry programme. All applicants can apply directly through our website. No prior knowledge is assumed. For Certificate programmes, the following applicants will be considered:

• Candidates who wish to gain knowledge and skills in screen content production.
• Candidates who want the flexibility to explore and experiment within the field of content production, and consider possible future careers in the field.
• Candidates may wish to pursue further study and may use this learning experience as an access pathway to do so.
• Applicants who have completed their secondary education, and are applying on the basis of their Leaving Cert, will require a minimum of five subjects at grade O6/H7, to include a language.
• Candidates with equivalent grades from other awards will also be considered. Mature learners, over 23 may also apply for consideration.
