Safety Management

The QQI-accredited Level 6 Safety Management (6N1782) course is designed to equip learners with the practical skills, strategic knowledge, and leadership competence needed to effectively manage health and safety in the workplace.

To enrol in this course, learners must meet the standards of knowledge, skills, and competence associated with the preceding level of the National Framework of Qualifications. A minimum of Level 5 certificate standard of education is required. Proficiency in written and spoken English, as well as computer literacy skills, are essential. Students undertaking Level 6 courses are expected to demonstrate proficiency in reading, drafting, preparing, and comprehending information across various topics. Basic IT skills and access to necessary equipment such as a computer, broadband, email, Microsoft Office, and recording equipment are required for skills demonstration tasks. Additionally, learners must be capable of self-directed study as this course is delivered through blended learning.
