- 1 year, blended. One evening per week (currently Wednesdays) over 26 weeks (18:00 – 21:00) plus four Saturdays for laboratory work, site installation visits, and a visit to the Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) wind turbine. While most classes are available in both in-person and online mode, a student undertaking the course is required to attend the college in-person a total of 4 times during the programme. The four occasions all take place on Saturdays during the year and are when we carry out the practical/laboratory sessions. Students attend for a large part of the day, typically from 9:00 to 15:30 on those Saturdays. There would be two such days during Semester 1 before Christmas, and two more during Semester 2 after Christmas.
