Programme summary
The aim of this programme is to enable the learner to acquire the relevant knowledge, skill and competence to provide tourist guiding activities to clients in designated regions.
Entry requirements
Education: Leaving Certificate or equivalent Aptitude: In interest in providing tour guiding activities to clients Previous Experience: None required A minimum English language and literacy competency of B2 in writing, reading, listening and speaking on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) is required at entry to the programme for speakers of English as a second language. Please note if your Nationality is from outside the European Union (EU), you will be required to provide proof of a Valid Stamp 4, 5 or 6 Visa with Valid GNIB Number or if you are currently in Direct Provision you will be required to provide a copy of your Labour Market Letter as issued by the Department of Immigration/Foreign Affairs.
