Public Administration & Policy

This programme – delivered part-time over one academic year – provides a comprehensive introduction to the Irish system of public administration. It considers the principles of public administration, the structure of Ireland’s government institutions, and how policies emerge and are (or are not) implemented.

Applicants over 21 years of age on the calendar year of entry can apply for any undergraduate programme. Those under 21 must have a Leaving Certificate with certain grades achieved (further details available from undergrad@ipa.ie).
