Programme summary

Building on existing skills and competencies you have learned through working or studying in a creative environment, this course will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the practical management and process for creative production.

Entry requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • Undergraduate qualification of 2nd Class Honours or higher at Honours Degree level.
  • Applicants without a Level 8 qualification may be considered based on their prior experience and learning through our RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) process.
  • Some prior experience in a related discipline is required.
  • A basic knowledge of Excel, or any other spreadsheet software, is required. Who is it for?
  • You might have a general media degree or be working in some form of media and be interested in reskilling to learn about film, television and live action production management. Or, you may already be working in film, television and/or live action and are interested in upskilling within your own field.
  • You might have a short film script or a documentary project that you wish to produce and need the know-how and skills to manage the project.
  • You may have a well-developed project that you wish to bring into the course. Alternatively, you will be provided with project material.
  • A basic knowledge of Excel, or any other spreadsheet software, is required.
