Programme summary
The aim of the programme is to critically explore the key pillars of integrated care in order to engage with the concept from an individual, community, organisational and international perspective. The programme is designed to be inclusive of a cross sectoral mix of professionals working in public and NGO services that interact with people who have longitudinal and complex care needs.
Entry requirements
Irish/EU Applicants Health or social care professional. Applications from community development, digital health professionals and others engaged in integrated care will be considered. BSc (Hons) or equivalent NFQ* Level 8 qualification in health, social care, or cognate discipline. Original and translated copies of transcripts of results must be supplied. A sufficient level of English to study in Higher Education. Verify that the medium of instruction for their Bachelor was English or meet one the following minimums: IELTS 6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any 1 band) PTE Academic 50 Occupational English Test (OET) 250 overall with no less than 200 in any one skill What is RPL? Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is when formal recognition is given for what you already know prior to starting on a programme or module. With recognition of prior learning the focus is on learning and not on experience as such. You can apply for RPL in any MTU accredited programme or module. Programmes which are accredited by professional bodies or any external awarding bodies may have their own procedures for RPL which you should refer to.
