Pre-University Psychology

This course introduces you to the fascinating world of psychological science, offering a broad understanding of how psychologists study, explain, and predict human behaviour. Over the year, you will explore how abnormal thinking and behaviour are identified and treated, while also examining topics in social psychology such as the psychology of evil, attitudes, and bias.

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, QQI level 4 full award. Mature students are welcome. Students who may not have formal academic requirements but who have the ability to successfully participate on the course will be considered. If English is not your first language you may be asked to complete an English assessment. Garda Vetting is a requirement for Work Placement and will be completed at the beginning of the course.
