Pre-University Programme for Mature Learners

The Pre-University Programme for Mature Learners is an in-person programme offered by the Academic Learning Centre (ALC) in Mary Immaculate College and is aimed at adult learners (minimum age: 22) from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds who wish to continue their education, and whose educational experiences and opportunities in their earlier years may have been limited.

Applicants must be over the age of 22 by 1 January on the year of application. A level of English language proficiency is required. What is the English language proficiency? English proficiency is a student's ability to use the English language to make and communicate meaning in spoken and written contexts while completing their program of study.
