Programme summary
Physics studies how our Universe works. It includes areas such as quantum theory, relativity and particle physics, and lies at the heart of most modern technology - for example the computer and the laser. Most forefront science takes place in international collaborations, and this 5-year MSci degree includes a year studying abroad. It is aimed at students who wish to continue French beyond school, and may want to pursue a career as a research physicist.
Entry requirements
Irish Leaving Certificate H2H2H3H3H3H3 including Higher Level grade H2 in Mathematics, H2 in Physics and H3 in French For applicants offering the Irish Leaving Certificate, please note that performance at Irish Junior Certificate (IJC) is taken into account. For last year’s entry, applicants for this degree must have had a minimum of five IJC grades at C/Merit. The Selector also checks that any specific entry requirements in terms of Leaving Certificate subjects can be satisfied.
