This programme offers graduates an opportunity to tailor the MSc curriculum to a targeted area of expertise in physics.
Entry requirements
- Entrance to the programme requires a degree or equivalent in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline. An upper second class honours, or the international equivalent is required.
- In special circumstances, students with a strong physics background and lower second class honours degree may be accepted.
- Applicants whose first language is not English must also demonstrate English language proficiency of IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0 in each element), or equivalent. You may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), as UCD recognises formal, informal, and/or experiential learning.
