The Occupational Therapy Assistant specialism prepares learners with the practical skills and professional competence needed to support high quality, person centred care across diverse healthcare settings. Through a blend of classroom learning and structured work placements, learners gain hands on experience that strengthens employability and builds confidence. This programme also offers a strong pathway to further or higher education in health and social care.

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent Interview Mature applicants welcome Applicants whose first language is not English will require a competency as stated in our admissions policy This course requires participants to be Garda vetted. Continued participation on the course and work placement is dependent on the successful completion of this process
