Programme summary

The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence in the theory, principles and practice underpinning the nursing process and nursing profession to enable the learner to perform a range of basic nursing skills.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age (16+). QQI Level 4 Major Award or its equivalent is essential (Leaving Cert, LCVP, LCA). Competent written and spoken English (CEFR B2 or Higher). Non-EU/EEA applicants must have permission to work in Ireland. Express an interest in learning and practicing new skills
