Programme summary

This one-year Nursing Studies course will introduce you to practical experience in healthcare clinical settings which, combined with an insight into theories relating to the nursing profession, will enable them to deliver high standards of care. Furthermore, this course will facilitate progression to third-level Nursing and Health-Science and other Healthcare programmes.

Entry requirements

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, or equivalent. Pre-entry guidance meeting Mature applicants welcome. At registration students will be requested to complete the necessary documentation in order to complete a successful garda vetting process. Garda clearance is a mandatory requirement for work placement
