Nursing Studies

This course introduces the learner to the role of the nurse and provides an understanding of the knowledge and skills required to pursue a career in the nursing profession.

- Entry Requirements: Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) - No academic requirements for over 23s - Places are offered following successful interview (May and September) - Successful candidates will be required to have obtained Garda Clearance before commencing their work experience module. All students are recommended to have received 3 doses of the Hepatitis B vaccine before commencing their work experience.
