Programme summary

The aim of the Post Graduate Diploma in Community Mental Health Nursing is to provide learners with knowledge and critical thinking skills to promote positive mental health in the community, in line with Sharing the Vision - a Mental Health Policy for Everyone.

Entry requirements

Applicants must: Be a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with NMBI or equivalent Be currently employed in a setting providing services for individuals who experience a mental health disorder All applicants will hold a relevant Level 8 qualification in Nursing Applicants who do not have a level 8 qualification may apply for entry to the programme in accordance with the procedures outlined in the DkIT Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy. International students must have a minimum level of English equivalent to IELTS 6.5. Candidates may be interviewed.
