Nua-Ghaeilge

The MA sa Nua-Ghaeilge is for graduates of Modern Irish and graduates of cognate disciplines. It aims to promote and preserve the Irish language, literature and culture, and emphasise their importance for Irish society and European identity.

BA le 2.1 sa Nua-Ghaeilge nó a chomhionann, agus ní mór ainm agus seoladh beirt mholtóirí a sholáthar, a bheadh inniúil ar do chumas intleachtúil, chomh maith le d’aibíocht agus do dhíograis, a mheas. Oiriúnach dóibh siúd a bhain bunchéim amach nó atá fostaithe le tamall i bpoist ina n-éilítear saineolas suntasach ar theanga agus ar litríocht na Gaeilge, nó dóibh siúd ar mhaith leo a gcur amach ar na hábhair seo a fhorbairt. Applicants whose first language is not English are also required to submit evidence of their English language proficiency. You may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), as UCD recognises formal, informal, and/or experiential learning. RPL may be awarded to gain Admission and/or credit exemptions on a programme.
