Musical Theatre is the theatrical genre where song and music is an integral part of the content, along with drama and, usually, dance. Performers are skilled at all three and must possess a quantum of individual talent.

A grade of F2 or above in Foundation Level Maths is recognised as one of the subjects for entry. Ref. 3 Assessment test is required for MT938 Musical Theatre. These are provisionally scheduled on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st of March 2026 Offers for MT936, MT931, MT932, MT933, MT934, MT935, MT938 and MT939 are made based on the Entrance Test/Assessment Test results to applicants who meet the academic minimum entry requirements for that course.
