Programme summary
The course is structured around a number of options covering all aspects of Music Technology from acoustics to computer programming, including audio signal processing, synthesis and recording engineering. Foreign language instruction is also available through the Maynooth University Language Centre.
Entry requirements
Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level, with a III Class Honours as a minimum (or equivalent). Students with a primary degree other than Music would normally have to demonstrate some degree of musical training and affinity. Candidates will be called for an interview. Minimum English language requirements: Applicants for whom English is not their first language are required to demonstrate their proficiency in English in order to benefit fully from their course of study.
