Programme summary

The course enables students to follow the practical side of performance, while also providing a strong foundation in Music Theory. This course is also and ideal preparation for 3rd Level courses in Music and careers in the music industry. Successful students will be awarded a QQI Level 5 Certificate in Music.

Entry requirements

Any of the following would satisfy entry requirements: Leaving Certificate/LCVP or Leaving Cert Applied QQI/FETAC Level 4 qualification Mature students (age 23+) with relevant experience or ability are also welcome to apply Interview – An ear-test is performed at interview, at which candidates will also be asked to sing or play an instrument.
