Prepare 10mm carbon steel plates to industry standards for multi-run fillet welding.

Set up and operate MIG welding equipment safely and effectively.

Perform multi-run fillet welds in flat and horizontal positions in accordance with CS16 standards.

Inspect and evaluate welds for quality, continuity, and compliance with specification.

Apply safe working practices throughout the welding process, including PPE and risk assessment.

Demonstrate an understanding of MIG welding principles, including heat input, penetration, and material behaviour.
