Men's Grooming - Traineeship

The aim of this training programme is to enable trainees to acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes to work effectively in the area of men's grooming . The programme aims to enable the learner through practical experience to integrate the theoretical and practical aspects of working in the men's grooming industry.

Education: Either of the following is essential: Educated to Leaving Certificate Pass or Honors Standard with Biology or another relevant science subject. OR Previously achieved an ITEC / CIBTAC module in the Beauty Therapy field. Aptitude: Demonstrate evidence of an interest in and knowledge of the industry. Good verbal and written command of the English language is required. Ability to apply themselves to practical tasks. Good concentration also required as is an ability to study and focus on learning. Previous Experience: Not necessary but any previous experience in a salon is an advantage.
