2 semesters, part-time, online. Delivery This programme is delivered fully online and classes are asynchronous i.e. student can look at the resources at a time of their own choosing. There is a one hour ‘live support session’ (voluntary attendance) on the last Friday of each month from 10-11am. Self-directed study/ engagement with resources and forum activities = 4-5 hours per week.

The Certificate in the Management of Occupational Stress and Wellbeing is a 20 credit online course over two semesters.

Entry requirements

The primary target audience for this programme are health and social care workers, however the programme is also open to managers and workers who may not be clinically/ social qualified professionals but rather qualified in vocational disciplines related to industrial and social skills training. A Level 7 major award or equivalent is required for entry to ensure that participants have the necessary academic, critical and reflective skills to undertake the programme. Recognition of Prior Learning Candidates who do not currrently hold a major award at level 7 or higher may be able to advance their application using the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) mechanism. RPL allows candidates to make a case that they do meet entry requirements through a combination of formal certified learning and learning through experience (most typically work experience). RPL applications must be made by filling out (please type) the RPL Level 8 form available here. English Language Competency Applicants whose first language is not English must submit documentary evidence of competency in English.
