Duration: The programme will run for 10 weeks in a blended learning format (a mixture of online and on-campus delivery) as follows; Online classes 1 evening per week, 2 hours per evening, Tuesdays from 7-9pm Two in-person Saturday classes at TUS Athlone Campus from 9:30am – 1:30pm Classes will take place online and at TUS Athlone Campus. The proposed delivery schedule is subject to change.

Programme summary

The aim of the programme is to provide for the development of knowledge, understanding, and skills required for effective leadership in Schools and Centres of Education. The rationale is based on the concept of Reflective Practice (Schön 1983) and will involve interactive engagement with relevant theory and some application of this to practice in a reflective context.
