Programme summary
The BA Ord, is a level 7 Degree in Law. Students take nine modules over three years, including all 8 subjects examined by the Law Society in their entrance examination.
Entry requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements? Applicants will normally have a Bachelor’s degree (Level 7 or above) in any discipline or a Certificate in Legal Studies (minimum Level 6) form a recognised third-level institution. In the alternative, applicants should have two years’ experience in a workplace in which law features prominently (legal secretary/paralegal/executive, civil and public service, the legal department of a bank or insurance company, a member of An Garda Síochána or social worker). Applicants with other experience will be considered on a case by case basis and an interview may be required for all applicants.
