The Diploma in Italian introduces students to the basics of the Italian language and assists them in developing their language competence in relation to the common situations of everyday life.

There are no specific entry requirements for the Diploma in Italian. Entry requirements for part-time students can be found at https://www.universityofgalway.ie/adult-learning/information/qualifications-and-entry-requirements/ (i.e. age, english language requirements etc.). The English language requirement does not apply to this language diploma. Recognition of Prior Learning If you do not meet the standard entry criteria for this course, you may gain entry through our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy.
