Irish and Broadcast Production

This programme equips students to develop a sophisticated grasp of modern Irish language and culture. Students on the BA Irish and Broadcast will receive intensive tuition in the Irish language with 3-4 hours of language instruction each week. You will choose from a wide range of modules relating to Irish culture and society such as the short story, poetry, Gaelic identity, mythology and Scottish Gaelic. In Broadcast, students are introduced to the widest possible experience of modern broadcasting and media production combined with critical thinking and excellent practical skills.
