Entry requirements
The MSc and Postgraduate Diploma in Science (Embedded Exit Award) are designed for graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Computing Level 8 or equivalent programmes (minimum 2nd class honours) or the Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering Level 8 or equivalent (minimum 2nd class honours). Candidates with significant professional experience in the computing field (as determined by RPL), in addition to an honours primary degree in another discipline area may also be considered for entry. Applicants who do not meet the above standard entry requirements will also be considered if they have an undergraduate degree (at Level 7 or Level 8) and a minimum of 5 years verifiable relevant industrial experience. Applicants who do not have a primary degree will only be considered with a minimum of 10 years verifiable relevant industrial experience. Applicants applying for entry via routes other than those listed above will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The department reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme.
