Duration: 3 years Blended Learning. Delivery Method: • Autumn Schedule 2026 The Autumn academic year of the blended learning delivery mode of this degree commences on 3rd October 2026. A provisional schedule will be published once it becomes available. • You are required to complete 100 hours in an inclusive environment for each academic year. This can be completed at a time convenient to you and within your role if you are employed within SEND. • Regular weekly or bi-weekly evening webinars are scheduled between 7 – 9pm and are recorded should you be unavailable to attend the live session. Some inductions take place on Saturdays. • Course materials are available weekly for download from our eLearning platform. One-to-one tutor support and structured online content make this course flexible and accessible alongside your work and family commitments.

Programme summary

The BA (Hons) Inclusive Education Practice prepares educators to support children with additional needs in early years and school settings.

If you are applying with a Leaving Certificate, six recognised subjects at a pass level or equivalent are recognised.
Without a Leaving Certificate applicants must meet one of the following criteria: Hold a QQI level 5 major award in relevant area, an undergraduate degree in another subject. Experiential Learning in SEND or related field with QQI Level 5 & 6 SNA awards.
Mature entry is at 21 years. Mature student applications are reviewed on a case by case basis and entry is via interview.

All applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language eg. completing a major award at QQI level 6 completed through English or hold a minimum IELTS score of 5.5
