1 year, part-time, blended. Programme Delivery The programme is delivered on a blended basis. Most of the module is delivered through recorded lectures available online for students to watch at any time. Contact with lecturers is through in-person attendance at UL campus for 8 days in the academic year (4 days in semester 1 and 4 days in semester 2). This flexible delivery model provides the best of both worlds – online content with on-campus days that give students the opportunity to meet lecturers, enhance their learning, and to develop networks with classmates from across industries. UL’s unique one-year, part-time, blended Higher Certificate in Human Resource Management and the Digital Workplace provides an introductory qualification in people management with a strong practical emphasis.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold five passes – five O6 (Ordinary Level) grades or five H7 (Higher Level) grades – in the Leaving Certificate (or an approved equivalent). Note: Grade F6 in Foundation Mathematics and Irish also satisfies the minimum entry requirements. For those not possessing a pass in five subjects, relevant experience and/or evidence of other part-time courses may also be considered. Applicants are also required to have a minimum of two years' work experience with at least six months supervisory experience.
