Programme summary
Nutritionists provide an understanding on the impact of diet on growth, development, health, and wellbeing, working in non-clinical settings including health promotion, advisory roles, research, teaching and the food industry. This course focuses on nutrition science and its impact on humans, public health and disease prevention across the lifecycle
Entry requirements
Irish Leaving Certificate 104 UCAS tariff points to include a minimum of 5 subjects (four of which must be at Higher Level). Essential Subject requirements: grades H3/H4 in two subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Home Economics, Maths, Physics. If you do not pass Maths nor Chemistry at H3/H4, as they are required for prior learning, a minimum grade of H6/O4 is required in addition to the two essential subjects. The minimum requirement for English is H6/O4.
