- 1 Year Full Time (September to May). Course Location: Students spend 8 to 16 weeks on work placement with a registered host. Students are based at Kildalton College (not online) from January to May (16 weeks).
Programme summary
The Advanced Certificate in Horticulture provides students with the opportunity to acquire management knowledge and skills to effectively manage and carry out day to day tasks and long term management of parks and gardens, sportsturf and commercial horticultural enterprises.
Entry requirements
Students who have successfully completed the Level 5 Certificate in Horticulture are eligible to apply for the Level 6 full time horticulture programmes, Level 6 Horticulturist Apprenticeship or Level 6 Sportsturf Management Apprenticeship. Applicants with relevant prior learning and/or life experience will also be considered.
