HGV Professional Driver - Traineeship

The main qualification associated with the traineeship will be the Driving Licence in Rigid (Category C) and Artic (Category CE).

Education Individuals must hold a full European/Irish B licence. Individuals must have C class learner permit to be eligible for this course. In order to get a permit you must pass your c class theory test and complete a medical with your doctor before applying for your learner permit. You can book your theory test through the theory test website www.theorytest.ie Learners must pass an Interview and Cab test to be accepted onto this course Learners require good communication skills both verbal and aural and basic hand-eye co-ordination skills. Aptitude Learners will be required to complete both an aptitude test and also a Cab test Previous Experiences Individuals must hold a full European/Irish B licence.
