Healthcare Assistant - Mental Health Studies

Develop an understanding of what is involved in working with people experiencing mental health difficulties, and with their families. Develop the knowledge, skills and competence needed to pursue higher education studies in mental health nursing and/or to work as a healthcare assistant in a variety of hospital and healthcare settings.

General College Entry Requirements You should be at least 16 years of age. Leaving Certificate / Leaving Certificate Applied standard Level 4 Major award Individual courses may have specific additional requirements. These will be outlined in the course descriptions for each course. Relevant work experience or training will be considered. Evidence of CERFL proficiency at B2 is required for those whose first language is not English
