Programme summary
Become a qualified Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with a special focus on care of the older person. Qualify to work as a HCA on our unique and highly regarded Disability Support course which prepares you to work in any healthcare environment including community homes for independent living, nursing homes and daily respite centres for people with a disability.
Entry requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements - Leaving Certificate: O6/H7 in 5 subjects or Leaving Certificate Applied or QQI Level 4. - Equivalent qualifications will be accepted. Mature Applicants Mature applicants who have relevant industry experience and may not meet the above requirements are welcome to apply.
