Entry requirements
(a) Satisfy the University’s general entry requirements; AND (b) Have attained Grade O4 or above at OLC in 5 subjects (to include OLC English) or an equivalent standard in an approved qualification; AND (c) Provide evidence of competence in numeracy (OLC Grade O4 or above or equivalent – this requirement may be met within (b) and can be met with level 2 Essential Skills Application of number; (d) hold a BTEC Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care or a related Level 3 subject area, or 1 Higher Level pass or equivalent (with a minimum of 48 UCAS points to include at least 2 grades at H4 or higher); OR as an alternative to (a), (b), (c) and (d). (e) Provide evidence of their ability to undertake the programme through the accreditation of prior experiential learning. APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) may apply for entry (visit www.nwrc.ac.uk/apply for details). All applicants must also satisfy Enhanced Disclosure from Access NI. Applicants will be invited for mandatory information session and interview.
