- 1 year, part-time, blended. Induction for this programme will take place Face to Face on the DkIT campus, from 2pm to 7pm on 23rd September Thereafter the programme will be delivered predominately online, with live online lectures (for 1 hour each) over three evenings per week. Due to the online delivery of this course students should have access to a PC / Mac, a headset with a mic, and a broadband internet connection from home, so as to be able to fully participate in the course. Basic IT skills essential.
Programme summary
This course is of particular interest to those who may wish to undertake safety officer roles in their companies and is designed for those working in the manufacturing sector, who would like to study on a part-time basis.
Entry requirements
Applicants should have a minimum qualification at QQI Level 5 or Leaving Certificate qualification. Applicants who do not have a Level 5 qualification will be considered on prior relevant experience and may be interviewed. Applicants for whom English is not their first language must have English level of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent.
