Hairdressing - Pre - Apprenticeship

The aim of the course is to prepare students for an opportunity as an apprentice in the Hairdressing Industry. Students will be given practical training and confidence in many disciplines, for example, blow drying, colour application, basic cutting, setting, etc, which they will be required to combine with practical experience of salon work placement to help them secure an Apprenticeship.

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, QQI level 4 full award. Mature students are welcome. Students who may not have formal academic requirements but who have the ability to successfully participate on the course will be considered. If English is not your first language you may be asked to complete an English assessment. NHA level 4 major award
