Programme summary

This one-year full-time Hairdressing (Junior Trades) course is an intensive, hands-on programme that leads to recognised qualifications in hairdressing and related skills. Students aspiring to pursue a career in hairdressing gain the practical skills and theoretical knowledge essential for success in this rewarding sector of the beauty industry. Students interested in progressing to a second year where they gain higher qualifications in Senior Trades and a City & Guilds Diploma in Ladies Hair Dressing are selected on a competitive basis. Training is provided in the fully equipped college hairdressing salons.

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, or equivalent. Pre-entry guidance meeting Mature applicants welcome
