Global Business Practice - Cork

The MA in Global Business Practice emphasises the development of skills relating to International Business with a capstone international placement.

This programme is geared at business students. As students will emanate from various business areas the following entry criteria normally need to be met: 2.2 (or equivalent) in an honours degree in a business area. A personal statement must be provided by the applicant. An interview may be held with candidates. An IELTS of 6.5 (or equivalent) will be requested of students where deemed appropriate by the Head of Department. What is RPL? Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is when formal recognition is given for what you already know prior to starting on a programme or module. With recognition of prior learning the focus is on learning and not on experience as such. You can apply for RPL in any MTU accredited programme or module. Programmes which are accredited by professional bodies or any external awarding bodies may have their own procedures for RPL which you should refer to.
