- 2 Years Part Time Online. Course Delivery This programme is delivered online part-time over four semesters i.e. from September 2026 to June 2027 and from September 2027 to May 2028. The capstone project is completed in the student’s own time during the period of May to August 2028. Online classes take place two nights per week per semester from 6pm to 9pm. Delivery will be via a blend of tutor-led classes, live Q&A sessions and pre-recorded lessons.

Entry requirements
Applicants must hold a level 8, 2nd Class Honours Grade 2, in computer science, financial services or in a cognate discipline. The University’s policy in relation to recognition of prior learning (RPL) also applies. All applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English language proficiency. IELTS Academic 6.0 (No less than a 5.5 in any one band) English language tests must be undertaken no more than two years prior to the start of a programme. What is RPL? Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is when formal recognition is given for what you already know prior to starting on a programme or module. With recognition of prior learning the focus is on learning and not on experience as such. You can apply for RPL in any MTU accredited programme or module. Programmes which are accredited by professional bodies or any external awarding bodies may have their own procedures for RPL which you should refer to.
