1 year part-time, online. Recommended Study Hours per week Students can expect to attend online lectures two evenings per week. Each lecture will last for approximately 1-2 hours. Students will need to complete 5-6 hours of independent learning per week for each module. Online lectures are recorded and available to students for the duration of the programme. On-Campus Attendance Requirement No mandatory attendance required. There is an opportunity to attend campus for a network day per term. Note: Check programme Examination and Assessment requirements, as they may involve examinations to be taken on campus.

Programme summary

The Postgraduate Certificate in Financial Management and Sustainability’s philosophy is to facilitate and require the student to consider and understand that finance, sustainability of business, society, and strategy are interconnected, where the success of one supports the success of the other. Students will have an opportunity to gain knowledge into broad areas of financial management, client management, strategy, and sustainability.

Entry requirements

This programme is open to applicants with an honours degree (Level 8), with evidence of a 2:2 or higher. Applicants with other qualifications and with relevant work experience may also be considered through ATU Sligo’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process. RPL is a process that may allow you to gain admission to a programme or to receive exemptions / credit from some parts of a programme based on demonstrated learning that you may have achieved through another programme of study or through your work and career.
