Programme summary
The aim of this course is to provide trainees with the skills required to succeed in the festival and event industry. The course addresses the growing requirement for trained professionals in this expanding sector. The course also aims to ultimately contribute a number of indigenous festivals and events, as well as the companies and professionals required to service all aspects of them. Entry requirements
ENTRY CRITERIA: Education: Leaving Certificate Standard required, with proficiency in maths. Third level education is desirable (though not essential). Aptitude: Learners must be motivated to learn, be computer literate, with good basic standard of English and Maths. Learners must be able to do research and be willing to undertake projects and assignments. Previous experience within the event industry is desirable though not essential. This course requires a good level of English both oral and written with basic computer skills. Entry is then determined by eligibility and interview.
