Fashion Design & Styling

This advanced-level course prepares students for the vibrant, creative, and constantly evolving world of fashion design. It fosters innovation, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of the fashion industry, from concept development to garment realisation. Students will explore both the creative and commercial aspects of fashion, building a portfolio that reflects individuality, craftsmanship, and professional design standards.

Applicants should hold a QQI Level 5 qualification in Fashion or an Art & Design–related discipline. Mature and postgraduate students are warmly welcomed. All applicants will be invited to meet with a member of the fashion team to discuss their suitability for the course. You will be contacted with details regarding the date, time, and location of your meeting. Applicants are also required to present a small sample of creative work to demonstrate their skills and interests. Examples of creative work may include: Drawings or illustrations Sculpture or collage Paintings or mixed media Sewing or garment samples Technical drawings Poster or graphic design Photography Advanced Certificate in Fashion Design QQI Level 6
